Chaperone Policy
Chaperone
We understand that, for patients, intimate examinations can be distressing or enduce anxiety for many reasons. We recognise that some patients may feel reassured or comforted by having a trained Chaperone present for these procedures and, as such, our clinicians will offer a Chaperone for all appointments of this nature.
Chaperones are also available for other procedures and examinations on request by the patient. These can be requested either before (when booking) or during the appointment.
