Practice Update

As you are all no doubt aware, the past few weeks have brought a significant rise in the local and national cases of CoVid.

We are constantly reviewing our processes to ensure everyone’s safety and our capability to continue providing services should we encounter an outbreak.

The Practice has made the decision to Cohort, or “Bubble” our staff.

This means that all of our staff will only be able to access certain buildings, depending on which Bubble they are in.

Bubble 1 consists of Endless Street and Porton & Old Sarum Surgery.

Bubble 2 consists of Three Swans and Winterslow Surgery.

This reduces the risk to all of our staff as they will never, in the course of their duties, meet someone from the other Bubble.

This also reduces the risk to our service; we will effectively have two separate practice teams and this means that we’re in a much better position to continue with routine services, no matter what happens over the course of the coming weeks and months.

We are pleased to announce that, as part of this move, Endless Street will be opening for more face to face appointments.

We anticipate these actions will be hugely beneficial to you, our patients, in the short term and provide a strong contingency for continuing to care for you in any eventuality.

We ask that you do not come to the Practice for Prescription enquiries – this is to reduce the amount of patients who visit the practice and ultimately, help to keep our staff, and the patients who do have to visit us, safe. This will take place with immediate effect and any patients who attend with prescription queries from today (13th November 2020) will be asked to call the Practice’s dedicated Dispensing queries line (01722 336441, option 2).

Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.

Stay Safe.
