NHS Volunteer Responders
This service, provided by the Royal Voluntary Service and GoodSAM, can give help to those patients of ours who need it.
They offer a ‘Check in and chat’ service for people to have friendly telephone calls as well as a Community Response service for support with shopping and prescription deliveries.
Patients can request support from volunteers or sign up to be a volunteer responder themselves in one of the following areas:
- Pick Up and Deliver
- Check in and Chat
- Check in and Chat Plus
- Community Response
- Steward
