Change of Venue for Vaccination clinic
This Saturday (1st May) will be the final day that Salisbury Cathedral will be used as a vaccination centre. The GP led service will continue to be delivered at Leaden Hall within the Cathedral Close and all patients will be notified about the arrangements..
The change of venue is necessary as the Cathedral returns to choral worship this Sunday (2nd May) and prepares to open to visitors later in May.
Dr Michele Giorgi Joint Clinical Director South Sarum PCN said
"We would like to thank the Cathedral for being amazing hosts for this exceptional programme, the staff and volunteers could not have done more to help the vaccination teams. It has been a truly memorable experience for all involved."

Second vaccination information
We are now starting to recall patients for their second vaccinations. Please note it is extremely important that you attend this appointment in order to complete your coronavirus vaccination course and to ensure maximum immunity.
We will not be able to offer alternative appointment days or times, due to the narrow timeframe in which we have to administer your second dose, as well as vaccine supply.
Only in the following circumstances will it be possible for you to rebook your appointment:
- You have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 4 weeks
- You currently have COVID-19 symptoms
- You are currently in hospital
- You have become housebound since the first vaccination
Please do not contact us to book in your second vaccination - we will contact you with an appointment when this is due. If it has been 11 weeks since your first vaccination or you have any queries, please contact wccg.sarumcathedral@nhs.net

Cohort 10 +
Patients aged 32-49 can now book a covid vaccination via the NHS website or by calling 119.
The NHS website may be experiencing problems due to large numbers of people attempting to use the service. Please keep trying.
Please do not call the surgery to try and book a vaccine if you are under 50 and are not in a clinically vulnerable group.
Working as the Sarum South PCN, we continue to concentrate our resources on offering second vaccinations to those patients in cohorts 1-9; the elderly, carers and most clinically vulnerable.
